Cookies

This page lists everything CKTH stores on your device, what each item is for, and how long it stays. The essentials are always on. Everything else is off until you turn it on, and you can change your mind whenever you like.

Essential

These run the site you asked for, so they are never optional and never gated. Without them you could not stay signed in and we could not protect your account.

Sign-in and security cookies
Keep you signed in, carry a login safely between the store and this app, and protect the forms you submit. They last from ten minutes for a single login step up to thirty days for a session you asked us to keep.
ckth_consent
Records the choice you make on this page so we stop asking. It lasts 12 months, whether you accept or decline.
Your own dismissals and drafts
Remembers a banner you closed for as long as the browser tab is open, a questionnaire you have not finished until you submit it, and a location filter you cleared for an hour.

Analytics

Off until you turn it on. It tells us which pages get used and where people give up, so we can fix what does not work.

PostHog
Our analytics provider. It stores an id for this browser, in a cookie and in local storage, for 12 months. It is an id and nothing more — your name, email, and address never reach it.
Google Analytics
Google's measurement tool. It stores a random id for this browser in the cookies _ga and _ga_HQC4LD949X, which last two years. The CKTH store uses the same tool, so the store and this app read as one visitor to it. It is an id and nothing more — your name, email, and address never reach it.

Referral credit

Off until you turn it on. Members earn points when someone they invited joins, and this is the only way the app can tell that the person joining is the person they invited.

ckth_ref
The share code of the member whose link you followed, kept for 30 days so they are still credited if you join later that month.
ckth_vid
A random visitor id in local storage, used to tell a real visit from a member reloading their own link. It is not tied to any account and stays until you clear your browser storage.
ckth_sc
Marks a share link as already counted in this tab so one visit is never counted twice. It is gone when the tab closes.

Your choice

Turning a category off stops new storage and deletes what that category already put on this device. Declining costs you nothing on the site itself — you stay signed in and everything keeps working.

For how CKTH handles personal data beyond this device — what we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it — read the privacy policy on the store.
